This is the idiom don't cry over spilled milk. It basically means don't get upset or cry over something that has already happened and you can't help or undo it.
I chose to paint on a 3D object. I painted a little panda and some bamboo on the sides because pandas are the cutest and my favorite animal. Pandas eat bamboo and I found some at Kroger on my way home from Miami after the mission trip my freshman year and I still have it and it's still growing.
For my sketchbook assignment I decided to do a mini painting and it's kind of also the interpret a dream. I used acrylic on a small canvas and painted a little fairy on top of a mushroom. There is a lot of emphasis on the silhouette itself because it's solid black against a brighter background. There is also color and value in the background with the different colors I used.

Dislocation - taking something away from where it would normally be seen
I choose to depict an emotion and used sharpie and colored pencil to draw a little ballerina angel girl drinking coffee. All around her is quotes about Mondays in sharpie because people have a lot of different emotions about Mondays.
